Club evenings

Vuosali Hall can be turned into a club, where concerts are enjoyed in an intimate setting at small tables. All club evenings have a fully licensed bar. One of the most popular club evenings at Vuosaari House is Maestro ja minä, during which the host, Holle Holopainen, interviews his guests in between songs. A number of brilliant artists, such as Anna Puu, Pelle Miljoona, Jonna Tervomaa, Erin and Samuli Putro, have performed at the club over the years. Vuosaari House's other club evenings showcase world music, and these energetic events typically end up with the audience taking to the dance floor.

Flyygelikuu concerts transform the lobby of Vuosaari House into an atmospheric venue. Rows of benches are brought in, and a Steinway & Sons grand piano with a glorious sound is placed in front of them. You can drop into one of these concerts for a short moment, or listen to the whole thing. Works by composers such as Sibelius, Chopin, Ravel and Satie have been performed in this series of concerts. The performers have included both celebrated and promising young pianists. The grand piano has been played by Tuomas Nikkanen, Mirka Viitala and Maija Parko, among others.

Vuosaari House offers cinematic experiences to people of all ages. For some of the screenings, supplementary material is available for those who wish to get more out of the experience. The programme of Cinema Vuotalo includes premieres and Event Cinema screenings. The cinema features a high-end digital projection system.
